“Connecting the Dots” is a digital feature story to promote a special edition of the journal Vaccine, focused on the urgency of updating the vaccination supply chain.
Early concept sketches of our story centered around the idea that one in every five children is not getting the vaccines they need because of flaws in the supply chain. Because the material was technical, we proposed colorful, stylized illustrations to highlight key concepts through the feature.
Animated GIFs were used within the feature and on social for promotion.
The feature was shared by global health organizations, including the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Gates Foundation.
